Mount Moosilauke, NH
via Beaver Brook Trail and Benton Trails
June 29, 2002

Since first viewing the lowest of the Waterfalls that descend next to the Beaver Brook Trail on Mount Moosilauke's Northern slope, I've long planned a return visit to hike the entire Beaver Brook Trail and summit Mount Moosilauke.  The Beaver Brook Trail ascends steeply along Beaver Brook, which essentially is a mile long cascade with a seemingly endless supply of cascades, pools, drops, and falls.  The trail is steep and challenging, but highly rewarding and deserving of the effort.

I've broken my trip down into two sections.  The first section details my morning ascent and viewing of the Beaver Brook Cascades.  The second section details the final ascent, summit, and descent of Mount Moosilauke.  Liberal amounts of quality photos adorn each page.  Enjoy!
