Sunday River, ME
Spring Break - March 2000
Spring Break, March 2000, Sunday River! Can you say Double Diamond Skiing!?!? Solo, I ventured up to Maine for an afternoon of some of the best skiing in New England. Here are the pictures of my adventures from that winter wonderland called Sunday River:

White Heat on White Cap. A view from the top of Sunday River's signature Double Diamond
trail.

Top of Vortex on Aurora Peak. One of my favorite double diamonds
at Sunday River. Straight and Steep!

Top of Black Hole on Aurora Peak. One of the steepest Double
Diamond trails at Sunday River. It's like going over a cliff!

T2 on Locke Mountain. Half way down the gentle Diamond.

Eureka on Oz Mountain, about half way down. Panoramic shot looking to the left towards
the Lost Princess trail and forward to on the Eureka Trail.
T R E E . S K I I N G !
Skiing the glades at Sunday River was a pure joy. Sunday River offers some of the largest and challenging tree skiing trails in New England. Check out these hair raising photos I took in the trees!
SPRUCE CLIFFS on Spruce Peak

Emphasis on Cliffs! Looking down
from the top of the trail, if you call it a trail! Double Diamond
is an understatement.

Further down the cliff, er, trail, looking back up to the top.

Close to the bottom, looking down to the final destination.

WHAT?!?!

At the bottom of the trail, looking back up at the ridiculousness of this top to bottom glade trail.
